About Me

Hi, I’m George Bolmida, a Kubernetes-focused infrastructure engineer.
I’m currently a Senior Platform Engineer at dunnhumby, an individual contributor building and operating a production AI platform end to end, from Python application code to the Kubernetes infrastructure serving it. I own the whole stack: application logic, deployments, monitoring, and incident response.

Before dunnhumby Link to heading
I spent about two years at Tangram Flex, where I owned a production GitLab instance on Kubernetes supporting 100+ developers on a $95M defense contract, managed AWS infrastructure with Terraform, and rebuilt CI/CD pipelines. Before that I led Cyber@UC’s infrastructure team, building on-prem Kubernetes and GCP infrastructure with GitOps via Terraform, Helm, and Flux, and deploying Teleport SSO for access management. I also co-founded an early-stage startup (Datacrate.io), where I led all technical decisions, built prototypes, and pitched investors.
